So we got news back about dad, and he doesn't have pneumonia...he has an infection in his lungs. We are not completely sure what kind of infection or what it is quite yet. He is on more antibiotics and his chemo has been postponed till the infection is gone! He got out today, but came home and was really tired. This infection is really knocking it out of him!
I also wanted to put out some information about the 4th of July. This year we are going to try to have a family & Friends reunion at Lake Chemung. We have rented out the lake property and will have it all through the week of the 4th! I would like to extend the invitation to everyone! I will have more information, and a better invite next week! I know my cousin will be joining us from TN, and I will have to find out who else from our family is coming up! We just plan on having food, and spending time with the people who matter the most to us!
Have a great night! Sorry no quote tonight!!!!

Sooo...
So this past week has been very interesting! Dad went in for a check up at the beginning of the week, and they thought he had pneumonia (fluid in the lungs). He was given and CT scan and we are still waiting on the results. He has been on antibiotics and will continue his chemo this Thursday! In my dads state right now pneumonia can be very bad! Its not good when your healthy, but its even worse when you have cancer! He has been doing better since he has been on the antibiotics, his cough is not as bad as it was a couple weeks ago!
We still have been monitoring his blood pressure, and the doctor has seen our log! The doctor doesn't have any concerns with blood pressure at this moment in time, which is a good thing!
We are still learning a little more everyday on how to deal with all of this. And we appreciate everyone in our lives at this moment in time who are helping us through this hard time!!!
Hope everyone is enjoying this weather!!!!!
